Your management key and a ready-to-use Demo Customer are created automatically. Keep both keys on your server, test with the included onboarding details, then create real customer accounts as needed.
AppClickPrint creates it automatically and shows it once. Keep the acm_ key in your server environment, never in browser or mobile code.
Use the demo onboarding URL or setup code returned at signup to connect an Android gateway and discover printers immediately.
Send a PDF, ZPL or ESC/POS job with the demo customer API key. Create real customer accounts through the portal or provisioning API when ready.

The full key is shown only when created. If it is lost or exposed, regenerate it; the previous key stops working immediately.
Create a customer
A newly created customer response includes its one-time apiKey. The onboarding URL and gateway code expire after 30 minutes. Repeating the same externalId creates a fresh onboarding link without signing out existing gateways.
Embedded Printer Management for Your App
Request a short-lived customer portal URL from your server, then open it in a popup, new tab or approved iframe. Use mode: "printers" for management or mode: "select" when your app needs the customer to choose and return a printer.
Request a management URL
Listen for appclickprint.ready, appclickprint.printers.changed, appclickprint.printer.selected and appclickprint.portal.close. Selection returns the printer alias, name, driver, connection and Print URL. Always verify the message origin.
Allowed app origins
Authorise the browser origins that may embed printer management or receive a printer selection.
Your backend can manage the same list using PUT /v1/developer/allowed-origins. That request replaces the complete list.
