Retail PRINTING

Add retail price and shelf-label printing to your product app

Turn a price change, stock receipt or merchandising action into a label at the store—using the product data and permissions already managed by your application.

AppClickPrint cloud print gateway

Use the gateway that fits each customer site

Your API integration stays the same. The customer can connect Android, Windows or Linux depending on the printers and computers already available at the site.

Android
AndroidQR setup, network, paired Bluetooth and USB discovery without a dedicated PC.
Windows
WindowsDiscovers supported network printers without installing them. Existing Windows queues are optional and discovered too.
Linux
LinuxDiscovers supported network printers without CUPS setup. Existing CUPS destinations are optional and discovered too.

THE PRINTING PROBLEM

Stop retyping product and price data into another tool

Retail teams often maintain products and prices in one cloud system but print labels from a separate desktop utility. Copying SKUs, barcodes and prices between systems slows markdowns and creates opportunities for mismatched information.

AppClickPrint allows the retail backend to create the approved label from current product data and send it to a printer assigned to that store or department.

Product price labels

Print SKU, description, price and barcode labels when stock is received or ranged.

Markdown stickers

Create authorised reduced-price labels with effective dates or internal references.

Shelf and location tags

Print shelf-edge, bin or display references from merchandising and replenishment workflows.

FROM APP ACTION TO PAPER

A workflow your application can own

An authorised user chooses products

The retail application applies its own store, price and permission rules.

The backend renders current data

Generate the barcode and visible price from the same authoritative product version.

The store printer is resolved

Use a saved alias for the store, department or label type and verify it remains available.

Each batch is tracked

Submit stable job identifiers and give staff a clear reprint path for damaged or missing labels.

WEB, MOBILE AND AI-BUILT APPS

Works with the stack you already use

Retail administration apps built with Bubble, Lovable, Replit, FlutterFlow, v0, Bolt.new, Base44 or conventional ecommerce backends can integrate through authenticated server functions.

Implementation checklist

Build printing as a tenant-safe backend capability, then expose simple controls in the customer-facing application.

  1. Keep price authorisation and effective-date rules in the retail application.
  2. Generate barcodes from the authoritative SKU and test scanner readability on final media.
  3. Store physical dimensions with each shelf, product or markdown template.
  4. Provide printer selection per store and optionally per department or label type.
  5. For batches, retain the mapping between product/version and AppClickPrint job ID.
  6. Use Standard mode for price text and barcodes, with Photo reserved for genuinely tonal product imagery.
Core integration pattern: provision the customer once, keep acm_ and acp_ keys on the trusted backend, provide permanent Add Gateway and Manage Gateways controls, let the user select an available printer, and submit jobs using its current alias.

Common questions

Can users choose different printers for shelf and product labels?

Yes. Save distinct aliases for each workflow and let authorised users change selections through your app.

Does AppClickPrint manage prices?

No. Your retail system remains authoritative for products, prices and permissions. AppClickPrint routes the rendered labels.

Can stores use existing Windows printers?

Yes. The Windows gateway exposes installed printer queues, while Android is available when a dedicated PC is undesirable.
