Fulfilment PRINTING

Print picking and dispatch documents at the station that needs them

Route a pick slip, carton label or packing document according to warehouse and workflow—not according to whichever printer the browser last used.

AppClickPrint cloud print gateway

Use the gateway that fits each customer site

Your API integration stays the same. The customer can connect Android, Windows or Linux depending on the printers and computers already available at the site.

Android
AndroidQR setup, network, paired Bluetooth and USB discovery without a dedicated PC.
Windows
WindowsDiscovers supported network printers without installing them. Existing Windows queues are optional and discovered too.
Linux
LinuxDiscovers supported network printers without CUPS setup. Existing CUPS destinations are optional and discovered too.

THE PRINTING PROBLEM

One fulfilment workflow, several physical outputs

A warehouse order can require an A4 pick list, a carton label and a packing or dispatch document at different stations. Browser printing treats each as an isolated user action and does not provide a reliable server-side route to local hardware.

AppClickPrint lets the application save printers by purpose. It can send office-sized PDFs through installed Windows/Linux queues and compact labels through direct thermal-printer paths.

Pick lists

Print multi-line warehouse picking documents to an office or industrial printer near the picking team.

Carton and tote labels

Create a barcode label when a tote, carton or consolidation unit is assigned.

Packing and dispatch documents

Print packing slips, despatch notes or internal routing documents at the packing bench.

FROM APP ACTION TO PAPER

A workflow your application can own

Model outputs separately

Treat the pick list, tote label and packing document as distinct outputs with their own printer selection.

Generate the correct format

Create office PDFs at document size and labels at exact media dimensions.

Route by warehouse and purpose

Resolve the printer alias server-side from the authenticated warehouse and workflow configuration.

Show useful job state

Display queued immediately and consume final events if staff need to know whether a station completed the output.

WEB, MOBILE AND AI-BUILT APPS

Works with the stack you already use

Order and warehouse systems built in Replit, Lovable, Bubble, Base44, v0/Vercel, WeWeb or established enterprise stacks can use the same API across document and label workflows.

Implementation checklist

Build printing as a tenant-safe backend capability, then expose simple controls in the customer-facing application.

  1. Store a printer mapping for every output purpose rather than one printer for the entire warehouse.
  2. Use installed Windows/Linux queues for document printers when their OS drivers provide the required finishing and media controls.
  3. Generate thermal PDFs at exact dimensions and office PDFs at their intended page size.
  4. Use separate idempotency keys for each output belonging to an order.
  5. Refresh available printers after a gateway is replaced or management is opened.
  6. Do not interpret HTTP 202 as physically printed; use job events when the distinction matters.
Core integration pattern: provision the customer once, keep acm_ and acp_ keys on the trusted backend, provide permanent Add Gateway and Manage Gateways controls, let the user select an available printer, and submit jobs using its current alias.

Common questions

Can AppClickPrint handle both A4 documents and thermal labels?

Yes. Windows and Linux gateways can print through installed document-printer queues, while compatible direct drivers handle thermal label output.

Can a print go to a different warehouse automatically?

Yes, if your backend resolves the alias from the authenticated warehouse configuration. Never accept an unchecked arbitrary alias from the frontend.

Can one gateway expose several printers?

Yes. A gateway can report multiple installed or discovered printers, each with its own alias.
